Hwy 25 improvements

South of I-94 in Monticello

Crews will begin by preparing the work area and moving utilities in April 2015. The northbound lanes will be reconstructed first, just south of the Manufactured Home Park (MHP) entrances.

Reconstruct
south of the MHP entrances to CR 106/85th St NE

  • Expand to four lanes
  • Improve pedestrian accessibility
  • Improve drainage
  • Install a new traffic signal with flashing yellow arrow, turn lanes and LED overhead lights at CR 106/85th St NE

Resurface south of I-94 to south of the MHP entrances

  • Upgrade traffic signals at Oakwood Dr, Chelsea Rd and School Blvd
  • Install new sidewalk west of Hwy 25 from MHP to School Blvd

 expect non-rush hour lane closures, lane shifts, access closures and flaggers

Local roads  will have access closures, flaggers and some detours
