Work on a new Hwy 10 and Benton CR 2 interchange in Rice begins in July 2013. The interchange replaces the existing intersection and signal and will improve safety and mobility on Hwy 10 and local roads.
When complete, new bridges will carry free-flowing Hwy 10 traffic over Benton CR 2, ramps will provide improved access to local roads in Rice, and a new acceleration lane at Hwy 10/CR 31/Gateway Dr will help address the area's growing commercial freight traffic.
Local roads and utilities will also be improved.
