Project Study
The proposed project will reconstruct Hwy 10 as a freeway in Elk River between Upland Ave/Sherburne CR 44 and the Hwy 10/Hwy 101/Hwy 169 interchange, including a city frontage road system.
The purpose of the project is to improve regional mobility, safety, traffic operations and local connectivity/accessibility while serving as a guide for comprehensive planning in the city of Elk River.
The freeway alternative is illustrated in Figure 4, Appendix A.
This study is funded by the city of Elk River.
