2017 work

Highway 27 to close and detour to replace two drainage culverts for the Hay Creek two/three miles west of Woodland in Kanabec County.

Bridge maintenance crews noticed the culverts were in need of repairs during a routine inspection this spring, which warranted the repairs to be scheduled this fall.

Detour plans

Mid-Sept to late-Oct (5-6 weeks): Highway 27 to close to through traffic between Highway 47 near Isle and Highway 65 in Woodland.

  • Detour uses Hwy 47 through Isle, Hwy 18, and Hwy 65 to Woodland

Local traffic

Highway 27 will close to all traffic at both culvert locations (east of County Road 80/Ivory St and west of McGrew Rd), use side streets. Access will be maintained to businesses and residences.
