Crews will replace two Highway 27 drainage culverts at the Hay Creek located two and three miles west of Woodland in Kanabec County.

Detour Isle to Woodland

Thru late-Oct. (up to 45 days): Highway 27 to close to thru traffic between Highway 47 near Isle and Highway 65 in Woodland. The detour adds 18 miles to trip and travelers may want to seek alternative routes.

Local traffic

Highway 27 will close to all traffic at both culvert locations. Locals will want to seek alternative routes on either side of the closure. Access will be maintained to businesses and residences.


Crews will first close and replace the Hwy 27 culvert located just east of County Road 80/Ivory Street. After that culvert is replaced, crews will close and replace the culvert located just west of McGrew Road.
