Summary of work

Most of the work for the Highway 2 reconstruction project, from Erskine to Highway 59, will take place during the 2019 construction. The project includes:

  • Reconstruction/replacement of the concrete pavement on Hwy 2 between west city limits in Erskine to the Oak Lake rest area.
  • Concrete bridge repairs and maintenance of Hwy 59 overpass bridges
  • Replacement of curb, gutter, storm sewer and culverts

Temporary crossovers were built in Fall 2018 to prepare for 2019 construction. That work has been completed.
