MnDOT hosts open house on Highway 11 project in Baudette

Construction tentatively set to begin June 1

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend an open house on Monday, April 4 to learn more about this summer’s complex reconstruction project on Highway 11 in Baudette.

The open house will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lake of the Woods Ambulance Garage, 111 Southwest First Avenue, Baudette.

The complex project is scheduled to begin June 1, and requires different staging and detours. Work includes: resurfacing of 10-miles of pavement, repair and resurface the Baudette River Bridge, construction of turn lanes, and the replacement of culverts, curb/gutter, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water utilities, pedestrian ramps and signs.

Representatives of the project team will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions. Individuals not able to make the open house are encouraged to visit the project website: www.mndot.gov/d2/projects/hwy11-baudette.
