15th Street Bridge in Bemidji reopens today
Detour removed along County Highway 6
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists in Bemidji may once again travel the 15th Street Bridge in Bemidji when it reopens Aug. 21. The detour along County Highway 6 will also be lifted.
Crews removed the bridge deck of the 15th Street Bridge, and constructed a new, higher bridge deck. Intermittent lane closures on County Highway 6 will continue into next week to allow minor work to be completed.
MnDOT thanks the public for its patience during this project, and reminds motorists to continue to pay attention in work zones.
The improved bridge will allow for greater clearance along the bypass, and will serve the community and the region for many years to come.
