Open House on Hwy 11 Loman to Pelland project to be held Tuesday in Loman


BEMIDJI, Minn. – MnDOT will hold an Open House on Tuesday, August 26 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Loman to provide information to the public on the Hwy 11 project.

The meeting will occur at 5 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church, 7667 Hwy 11, Loman. Subsequent meetings will occur on Tuesdays as well, at the same place and time.

The Hwy 11 project will be focused on repairing approximately 11 miles of pavement, as well as doing culvert replacement, shoulder widening, and ditch grading.

Motorists are currently experiencing a detour which is expected to conclude around August 30th. Detour dates are changeable due to weather and the contractor’s sequence of operations.  

The meeting will include representatives from MnDOT and Davidson Construction, the prime contractor on the project. The project and public impacts will be discussed. The public are encouraged to attend.
