BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists on Hwy 11 in Kittson County will experience a detour beginning July 23 as crews work to make extensive repairs. Hwy 11 will be repaved, shoulders repaired and widened, and culverts replaced in multiple locations.

The Stage 2 detour will begin on July 23 and extend until the end of August. Traffic on Hwy 11 from Robbin to Donaldson will be detoured south on Hwy 220 in Robbin for 8 miles, then east to Stephen on Marshall County Road 5 for 10 miles. Motorists will then proceed north on Hwy 75 for 8 miles to Donaldson.

The Stage 1 detour on Hwy 11 between Donaldson and Karlstad will be lifted on July 23.
