Detour removed from Hwy 6 north of Deer River

BEMIDJI, Minn. —Motorists on Highway 6 north of Deer River will once again be able to travel the route as the detour will be lifted on May 21, ¬†according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Traffic has been detoured since May 12 to do repairs to the highway.

The project made an emergency culvert repair, improved drainage, and reduced flooding.
