Orange barrels on a highway

Highway 92 closed south of Bagley

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 92 south of Bagley are encountering a detour and delays for a culvert replacement and resurfacing project.

Crews have closed Highway 92 between Bagley and Clearwater County Road 37 for culvert replacement work. Traffic is detoured to Highway 2, Clearwater County Road 2 and Clearwater County Road 37. Only local residents and motorists accessing businesses located within the closure area may use Highway 92. The road is not passable at culvert replacement sites.

The detour will remain in place for approximately one month until culvert replacements are complete.

The road will reopen during resurfacing. During that phase of the project, motorists will experience daily lane closures with flaggers and a pilot car to help keep the construction zone safe.
Work will be complete in early October, weather permitting.
The project will improve drainage and motorists will experience a smoother ride and safer highway when the project is complete.
