Lane closures continue on Hwy 2 Kennedy Bridge in East Grand Forks

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Motorists will encounter temporary lane closures on the Highway 2 Kennedy Bridge in East Grand Forks as crews conduct annual inspections.

Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane until 12 p.m. Tuesday, then eastbound traffic will be reduced to single lane until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, weather permitting. All lanes will be open at 4 p.m. daily.

The Kennedy Bridge also required lane closures May 28 – 30 for washing and inspection preperations.

Motorists should always drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
