Public information meeting about Hwy 11 construction from Loman to Pelland set for Nov. 14

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The public is invited to attend a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 14, to learn about the next phase of improvements to the Hwy 11 corridor in northern Minnesota. The Loman to Pelland project is scheduled for construction in 2014-2015.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church community room, 7663 Hwy 11, in Loman, and will begin with a coffee and cake reception to close out the completion of the Indus to Loman project.

Deb Bauer, MnDOT’s Loman-Pelland project manager, Jeremy Hadrava, MnDOT Design engineer, and other engineering staff will be available to discuss project work schedules, time frames and traffic impacts of the project.

Upgrading Hwy 11 from Baudette to International Falls to a 10 ton road without a spring load restriction has been a long term goal for the region.
