Hwy 11 construction from Indus to Loman begins July 9
Weekly public information meetings will be held

BEMIDJI, Minn. – A project to improve Hwy 11 from Loman to one mile west of Indus in Koochiching County will get underway July 9.

Improvements include widening the shoulders, replacing the culverts and resurfacing.

Gladen Construction will perform the work without a detour. Motorists are asked to slow down in the work zone and allow more travel time for delays.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-November.

The work will increase safety and create a smoother driving surface for motorists.

Weekly public information meetings to discuss work schedules, progress and other concerns will be held every Monday beginning July 16. The meetings will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church community room, 7663 Hwy 11 in Loman and will start at 7 p.m.
