TRAVEL ADVISORY – Hwy CLOSED
Hwy 59 at Plummer closed for cleanup due to train-truck collision

 

BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol closed Hwy 59 at Plummer in Red Lake County on Saturday due to a collision between a semi-truck and a train. 

 

Hwy 59 at Plummer will remain closed until further notice as crews continue their investigation and clean-up.

Southbound traffic is detoured from Plummer east on County Road 1 for seven miles, then south on County Road 5 to State Hwy 222, then west on State Hwy 92 six miles back to Hwy 59.  Northbound traffic will follow the same detour in reverse.
