Hwy 9 detour south of U.S. Hwy 2 modified temporarily 
 Rail crossing repair underway

 

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Hwy 9 detour between U.S. Hwy 2 and the Polk/Norman county line is temporarily modified to accommodate repair on the rail crossing at the junction with Hwy 9 and Hwy 102.

 

Northbound traffic from Ada will be detoured east on Norman County Road 19 for approximately 11 miles, north on Hwy 32 and then to Hwy 2.  Southbound traffic will follow the same detour route in reverse.

 

 

The rail crossing work is expected to be complete Saturday afternoon, Aug. 13, and the modified detour will be removed.

The regular detour route for the Hwy 9 project directs traffic to use Hwy 102.
