Second detour on Hwy 1 east of Oslo begins June 25
MnDOT removes detour between Alvarado and Warren
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a second detour from Highway 1 east of Oslo as resurfacing of Highway 1 continues. The first detour between Alvarado and Warren will be removed today and the second detour will begin Saturday, June 25.
The second detour will route traffic south on Highway 220 from Alvarado for about eight miles, then west and northwest on Polk County Road 22; Polk County Road 22 will turn into Marshall County Road 9 and lead back onto Highway 1 just east of Oslo.
The project is expected to be completed by June 30.
Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time when detours are in place.
