Hwy 9 resurfacing project in Polk County begins June 20
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Hwy 9 will encounter a detour from between U.S. Hwy 2 and the Polk/Norman county line when construction gets underway Monday, June 20, to repair several culverts and resurface the Hwy.
Northbound traffic will be detoured east on Norman County Road19 for approximately 11 miles to Hwy 32, north on Hwy 32 to Hwy 102 north of Fertile, then northwest on Hwy 102 to Hwy 9. Southbound traffic will follow the same detour route in reverse.
The detour is expected to be in place for about one month. The entire project is expected to be complete by early August.
