Northwest Minnesota road conditions
Bemidji, Minn. (9:15 a.m..) The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reporting improved conditions from flooding on state highways along the Red River in northwest Minnesota. However, the following highways remain affected:
Road closures
The following state highways remain closed until further notice:
- Hwy 1 east of Oslo – water over the road, closed to thru traffic. Local traffic only.
- Hwy 175 approx. 3 miles west of Hallock
- Hwy 220 from Hwy 1 near Oslo north to Hwy 11
- Hwy 317 from Hwy 220 west to North Dakota Hwy 17
Open – use caution
- Hwy 11 at Indus, westbound lane at mile marker 165.2 has a soft shoulder area – caution barrels are in place
- Hwy 171 from Hwy 75 to North Dakota border, some water on the road
