Highway 75 bridge replacement south of Shelly nears completion
Detour removed
BEMIDJI, Minn. – A new bridge on Highway 75 south of Shelly in Norman County is nearing completion as construction in Mn/DOT’s Northwest District 2 winds down for the season.
According to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT project engineer, the detour that had been used during construction has been lifted but he cautions motorists to slow down when approaching the bridge as workers and equipment are still in the area.
Seeding and cleanup work will continue for a few more days. The bridge will be totally complete next year when it is painted.
