Public invited to Drayton Robbin Bridge ribbon cutting ceremony Oct. 22
BEMIDJI, Minn. – The public is invited to attend a celebration of the new Drayton Robbin Bridge spanning the Red River from Robbin, Minn. to Drayton, N.D. on Friday, Oct. 22.
The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. on the bridge with comments from local dignitaries representing both the Minnesota and North Dakota departments of transportation.
In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Drayton Maintenance Facility, one mile west of Drayton.
The new bridge will provide users with a crossing that will be above the 100-year flood stage in an area that is flooded almost annually from the Red River of the North.
