Shoulder repair project on Highway 1 east of Oslo begins Aug. 30
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Beginning Monday, Aug. 30 motorists will encounter lane closures and short delays on Highway 1 from Oslo to two miles east of Oslo as crews work to repair damage caused by flooding.
Stabilization materials will be installed in the slopes along Highway 1 in an effort to provide better protection during flooding.
Although the work is done off the highway, lane closures will be required to provide adequate space for workers and equipment.
The project is expected to be complete by September 30.
