Highway 75 bridge replacements north of Shelly complete
Detour remains in effect for bridge replacement south of Shelly
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Highway 75 from Shelly north to Nielsville is open because crews replaced two bridges on the road. Motorists will continue using the detour for the bridge replacement project south of Shelly.
The detour will direct northbound traffic on to Highway 200 east, then north on Highway 9, and west on Polk County Road 1 to Highway 75 at Nielsville. Southbound traffic will follow the same detour in reverse.
Motorists will have access to Shelly residences and businesses via Norman County Road 3.
Due to a delay in materials, the detour for the south project has been extended to late October.
Motorists are advised to be alert for detour signing directions.
