Apply on-line or by mail for seasonal harvest permits
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Permit applications for anyone seeking a seasonal ten-percent overweight permit for sugar beets, potatoes and carrots must apply on-line or through the mail according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Permits are no longer issued at Mn/DOT’s Crookston office or in other truck station locations.
- To apply on-line log onto www.dot.state.mn.us/cvo/oversize/oversize.html.
- Click on “Forms/Apps”, then click on “Fall Harvest 10% Overweight Permit”.
- Click on the “Order a Permit” tab.
- Click on “Apply for a USER ID and Password” and follow the directions.
Completed permit applications may also be mailed to: Mn/DOT OFCVO Permit Section, 395 John Ireland Blvd., MS 420, St. Paul, MN 55155.
Permit applications may also be faxed in to 651-215-9677.
Mn/DOT accepts VISA and MasterCard for on-line and faxed applications and will accept checks for permit applications that are mailed in.
