Construction on Clementson Bridge on Highway 11 resumes Friday, May 14
Traffic restricted to one lane, speed reduced
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a single traffic lane with width restrictions and reduced speed to 30 mph as construction resumes this year on the Clementson Bridge on Highway 11 beginning Friday, May 14.
The traffic lane will be reduced to 12 feet wide with a 10 foot restriction on vehicles with permits. Stop lights will be installed on both ends of the bridge to control traffic during construction.
Motorists are also warned that there will be approximately 100 feet of gravel on each approach.
The project is located east of Baudette near the border of Lake of the Woods and Koochiching counties.
The project is expected to be complete in late September.
