BEMIDJI, Minn. – A project to recondition a portion of Highway 11 in Lake of the Woods and Koochiching Counties has been suspended for the season.

The detour has been removed and all restrictions lifted.

Final paving and finishing operations will be conducted during the 2009 construction season.

When completed, the 10.5 mile stretch of Highway 11 will have wider shoulders, culvert replacements and a new surface.
