BEMIDJI, Minn. - A project to resurface 19.5 miles of Highway 71 from north of Park Rapids to the junction with Highway 200 has been rescheduled to start Thursday, Aug. 21. The project had been scheduled to start today.

Motorists can expect some intermittent delays with lane closures. Flagging operations will be in place along with a pilot car to guide travelers safely through the work zone.

The project is expected to be complete by Aug. 29, weather permitting.
