Resurfacing of Highway 11 west of Warroad, Williams start delayed to August 4 - lane closures, intermittent delays expected |

BEMIDJI, Minn. - A resurfacing project on two sections of Highway 11 which was scheduled to start today as been delayed t o August 4 according to Shawn Groven, Project Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The first section will be from the east limits of Warroad to approximately three miles west. The second section will be from the west limits of Williams to approximately eight miles east of the city. The project, a mill and overlay, will include resurfacing the shoulders and building in a turn lane at Williams. Work will be done under traffic with the use of flaggers and a pilot car. Motorists need to prepare for lane closures and intermittent delays. The project is expected to be complete by Sept. 5, weather permitting.
