BEMIDJI, Minn. -A bridge inspection team will be performing routine, in-depth fracture critical and gusset plate inspections on the Sorlie Bridge located on US Business Highway 2 in East Grand Forks beginning Monday, June 23.

Alternating lane closures will affect eastbound and westbound traffic. The Sorlie Bridge inspection is expected to take a week depending on weather.

Following completion of the Sorlie Bridge inspection, the Kennedy Bridge on US Highway 2 in East Grand Forks will be inspected. This is expected to also take about a week with traffic affected in the same manner.
