BEMIDJI, Minn. -Motorists can expect traffic delays and a detour as work gets underway on a portion of Highway 200 from the east junction with Highway 64 to the junction with Highway 371 in Hubbard and Cass counties. The Highway 200 improvement project consists of repairing and replacing culverts and resurfacing. Beginning June 16, eastbound traffic will be detoured south on to Highway 64 at the junction with Highway 200, and then east on to Highway 34 with northwest bound traffic detoured in the opposite direction beginning in Walker. The detour is expected to be removed on June 26 with the remainder of the work done under traffic. Overweight and over width permits will not be issued on the portion of Highway 200 for the duration of the project. Depending on weather the project is expected to be complete by July 11.
