Safety improvements scheduled for State Highway 87 in Hubbard County begin Aug. 6 |

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Work designed to improve the safety of State Highway 87 in Hubbard County is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 6. The project area is between U.S. Highway 71 and State Highway 64. The work consists of flattening and realigning a curve west of the Crow Wing River bridge, shoulder work and paving. Traffic control will be maintained with flagging operations and a pilot car. Travelers are advised to allow extra time to get through the construction zone. The project
is expected to be complete by late September, weather permitting. ![]()
