BEMIDJI, Minn. - A paving project is scheduled to begin on Aug. 9 for a portion of U.S. Highway 2 in Crookston.

The project will occur on both the east and westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 2 from Groveland Ave. to just west of the junction with State Highway 75. The work includes a left turn lane at Memorial Drive and signal work.

Flagging operations will be in place and motorists will encounter minor delays.

The project is expected to be complete by Sept. 6, weather permitting.
