Motorists cautioned to expect some minor delays during paving on State Hwy. 1 and 89 |

Bemidji, MN. - Motorists traveling on State Highways 1 and 89 in northern Beltrami County will encounter some minor delays beginning Wednesday, July 18, as a paving project is scheduled to begin. The bituminous overlay project includes the construction of some turn lanes at various locations and extends from the south junction with State Highway 1 and 89 in Red Lake, north to near Fourtown. Paving will start on the northern end of the project and drivers are asked to slow down and be prepared for traffic control methods which include flagging operations and a pilot car. For information
