Bemidji, MN. - Rain has delayed the start of a highway project at two locations on State Highway 75 in Marshall and Kittson counties.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) says the box culvert replacement was scheduled to start July 16, but will now start on July 23. The exact locations of the culvert replacements are one mile south of Donaldson in Kittson County and 5.6 miles north of Warren in Marshall County.

During the project, the detour route for north bound traffic begins at the junction of State Highway 1 in Warren, then west on Highway 1 to the junction with State Highway 220, north on Highway 220 to the junction with State Highway 11, east on Highway 11 to the junction with State Highway 75 at Donaldson. The route for southbound traffic will be the same in reverse.

The project is expected to be complete by the end of August, weather permitting.
