Mn/DOT to hold public meeting to discuss future construction on Hwy. 197 |

Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is inviting interested individuals to a public information meeting to discuss a future construction project on State Highway 197 (Paul Bunyan Drive) from 3rd Street to 23rd Street in Bemidji. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The location is: Bemidji City Hall Council Chambers, 317 - 4th Street N.W. The construction project is a cooperative project between Mn/DOT and the city of Bemidji and will involve the following: Mn/DOT will be responsible for reconstruction of Hwy. 197 from 3rd Street to 23rd Street, removal of concrete/bituminous, traffic signal replacement/upgrades, storm sewer replacement and turn radii modifications. The City of Bemidji will be responsible for water/sanitary/storm sewer upgrading and replacement. The meeting site is handicap accessible.
