Bemidji, Mn. - A construction project to improve the condition and safety of State Highway 32 from St. Hilaire to Thief River Falls is scheduled to get underway on May 1st, according to Shawn Groven of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Groven said the project consists of a bituminous mill and overlay and includes 9 new right turn lanes and 3 new center left turn lanes. To accommodate construction, a detour will be put in place also beginning May 1st. Traffic from the south will be directed on to CSAH 3 on the north end of St. Hilaire, to State Highway 59, the north into Thief River Falls. Traffic from the north will use the same detour route in the opposite direction. The work is expected to be complete by mid-June. For information
