Lane closure east of McIntosh on U.S. Hwy. 2 required for construction |

Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is alerting motorists to the closing of one lane of U.S. Highway 2 for east-bound traffic just east of the city of McIntosh in Polk County. According to Todd Vonasek, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer for Construction in the Bemidji office, construction on U.S. Highway 2 east of McIntosh requires the closing of one of the east bound lanes. Motorists traveling in this area are asked to merge with caution when approaching the construction site and be alert for workers and equipment.
