Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of a box culvert project on State Highway 9 approximately 4.5 miles north of Beltrami in Polk County beginning Wednesday, August 30th.

The project will require a detour. Northbound traffic will be routed west on Polk County Highway 1, north on Polk County Highway 14, and then east on Polk County Highway 45. Southbound traffic will be vice versa.

Mn/DOT expects the project to be complete in late September, depending on weather conditions.
