Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the re-opening of the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 2 between Fosston and Erskine which have been closed for construction since July 10th.

However, motorists are cautioned that work continues in the eastbound lanes and drivers are being warned to watch for trucks entering and exiting the work zone. Eastbound traffic continues to be tapered to one lane and a speed reduction of 55 miles per hour remains in effect until further notice.
