Overlay of Highway 89 near Fourtown will start Monday |

Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of an overlay project on State Highway 89 in Beltrami County from Fourtown to 8 miles west beginning Monday, June 26th. According to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the project is a one and one half inch overlay with work on the shoulders. Groven said traffic will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations. He estimates his project to be complete by July 11th, weather permitting.
