Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the scheduled start of a bituminous overlay project on State Highway 197 and 71 south of Bemidji beginning Monday, May 15th according to Todd Vonasek, Mn/DOT Project Engineer.

The project will begin at Roosevelt Road and extend to Hubbard County Road 9.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with motorists instructed to follow a pilot car. The work is expected to take approximately five working days depending on weather conditions.
