Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the rescheduling of the start date for the bridge project on State Highway 171 near the St. Vincent crossing in Kittson County. The start date has been changed from May 8th to May 15th.

The location of the new bridge is between the junction of State Highway 171 and State Highway 75 and the bridge crossing the Red River into North Dakota.

According to J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer in the Thief River Falls office, Highway 171 will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the project which is expected to be complete in early October.
