Mn/DOT to hold informational meeting to discuss plans for resurfacing of Trunk Highway 200 in 2006 from Clearwater CSAH 2 to the junction with Trunk Highway 71 (Itasca State Park area) |

Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is inviting interested persons to an informational meeting to discuss plans for the resurfacing of Trunk Highway 200 from Clearwater County State Aid Highway 2 to Trunk Highway 71. The 6.5 mile project runs along the east side of Itasca State Park and is scheduled for construction in 2006. The informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center in Itasca State Park. The visitor center is located 1 mile into the park from the east entrance and will be open that evening to accommodate this meeting. Larry Randall, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor will be on hand to talk about the scope of the work, detour routes and time periods, expected duration of the project and any other concerns that may arise.
