Bridge repair on Hwy. 317 over the Red River scheduled for improvements; detour required |

Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is alerting the public to the start of a bridge repair project on Trunk Highway 317 over the Red River in Marshall County which will require a detour. According to J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer in the Thief River Falls office, the project consists of improvements to the bridge, guard rails and approach panels. He said the detour will be in place beginning August 12th, and traffic needing to traverse between Minnesota and North Dakota will be directed to the crossings at Trunk Highway 1 in Oslo and Trunk Highway 11 in Robbin. Anderson said
the detour is expected to be removed by August 31. For updated
