Mn/DOT schedules bituminous seal coating work on various sections of state highways in northwestern Minnesota |

Bemidji, MN. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of some preventive maintenance work in the form of bituminous seal coating on various sections of state highways in northwestern Minnesota beginning Wednesday, August 3rd. According to Earl Hill, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the following sections of state highways are scheduled for seal coating:
Hill cautions motorists to slow down when entering and traveling through these work zones. Flaggers along with pilot cars will be used for traffic control. He added, "Drivers can expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes in some situations, with speed reductions due to loose rock on the roadway." Mn/DOT expects the work to be complete by August 17th, depending on weather conditions. For updated
