Reconstruction of Trunk Highway 11 in Roseau begins Friday, July 22nd; public invited to information meeting |

Bemidji, Mn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of the reconstruction of Trunk Highway 11 in the city of Roseau beginning Friday, July 22nd. According to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the bituminous reclamation portion of the project which begins on July 22nd, will require traffic to be diverted off of Highway 11 and on to adjacent streets. Groven said the reconstruction of this portion of Highway 11 from the junction with Highway 89 to the east city limits includes storm sewer work, traffic signals, grading and surfacing. The work will continue through late fall and is expected to resume in early June of 2006. Groven, along with J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT's Resident Engineer from the Thief River Falls Office, will be holding a public information meeting about the project on Thursday, July 21st from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Roseau Fire Hall.
