Bemidji, Mn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of some preventive maintenance work on both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Trunk Highway 2 in various locations in Crookston beginning on Monday, June 6th. According to J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer in the Thief River Falls office, "Preventive maintenance in the form of concrete rehabilitation is being conducted on various segments of Main Avenue and Broadway on Highway 2 in the Crookston area." Anderson said work will be done under traffic which will cause some minor delays with reduced speeds, restricted traffic lanes and restricted parking. Motorists are being asked to slow down and be extremely alert for changing traffic conditions. Anderson expects
the work to be complete by mid-July depending on weather. For updated
