Culvert replacements on Highway 11 east of Badger will begin Monday, May 23rd; detour required |

Bemidji, Mn. - The Minnesota Department of Transportation has moved up the starting date from June 6th to May 23rd on a box culvert replacement project on Highway 11, east of Badger in Roseau County. According to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the box culverts will replace Bridge #8924 over Badger Creek and Bridge #8925 over Roseau County Ditch 13 on Highway 11. Groven said a detour is required and will be put in place effective Monday, May 23rd. East bound traffic will be routed from Highway 11 at Badger to Roseau County Highway 2 for approximately 8 miles, then north on Roseau County Rd. 15 for 5 miles, then back to Highway 11. Traffic heading west bound will follow the same detour in reverse. The work is
expected to be complete by the end of June. For updated
