Bemidji, MN.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is notifying
the public that width restrictions on Trunk Highway 6 between
Talmoon and Itasca County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 14 are being
removed today as reconstruction of this portion of highway is
nearly completed.
Larry Randall,
Mn/DOT Project Supervisor said, "we've completed paving and
shoulder work, which allows us to remove the width restrictions
on Trunk Highway 6." Randall added, "Motorists are being
cautioned that some work still remains, that includes painting
traffic lines on the highway and turf establishment." Randall
said, "we hope to get the turf establishment completed this
fall, but depending on weather, we may have to hold off until
next spring."
Mn/DOT would
like to thank the public for their patience during road construction.
