Randall said, "beginning Monday, October 4th, the final bituminous wearing surface will be placed on Highway 6 from Highway 286 at Talmoon, north to Itasca CSAH 14." Randall added, "traffic measures consisting of a pilot car and flaggers will be utilized and drivers can expect some minor delays during this process. Work is expected to be complete by October 13th.

In a parallel project from Highway 6, Mn/DOT warns the Trunk Highway 38 detour, which uses Itasca CSAH 14, will remain in effect until approximately the end of October.
